[PLZ Ort]

2. The essentials at a glance
- We use cookies and Google Analytics only with your consent (see section 5). Without consent, there is no tracking.
- There is no embedded third-party content (e.g. maps, videos, social media plugins).
- Fonts, icons and scripts are loaded locally from our own server – no data is transferred to Google or other providers.
- When you visit the pages, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data in server log files (see section 3).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by: [Name und Anschrift des Hosting-Anbieters].
Each time our website is accessed, the web server automatically records the following data:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested and amount of data transferred
- HTTP status code
- previously visited page (referrer), if sent by the browser
- browser and operating system used
- preferred browser language
This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability (e.g. to fend off attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in operating the website securely and without errors. Log files are deleted after [z. B. 7 Tage] unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Automatic language selection
When you open the home page (oktoberfest-zimmerfrei.de/), we redirect you to the matching language version based on the language setting sent by your browser. This information is only used for the redirect and is not stored (apart from the server log files described in section 3).
5. Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click „Accept“ in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland („Google“). This tells us which pages are used and how, so we can improve the website.
Cookies (_ga, _ga_…) are stored on your device, and Google processes in particular: pages viewed and time spent, approximate location (country or region, derived from the IP address), device type, browser and operating system, and where the visit came from. According to Google, IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future using the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer of every page. This also deletes the Analytics cookies.
Google may also transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; to that extent an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies (Art. 45 GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.
Analytics data is deleted after 2 months; the cookies last up to 2 years. We store your choice in the cookie notice in your browser's local storage so that we don't have to ask again on every visit.
6. Local storage of checklists
When you tick items in our checklists, this is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage so that your ticks are still there on your next visit. This data is not transmitted to us and never leaves your device.
Data is only stored if you actively use this feature, and storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete the data at any time using the „Reset“ button or by clearing this website's data in your browser.
7. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the information in your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by „https://“ in your browser's address bar.
